The United American Committee site collects general statistics such as site traffic, pages viewed, browser type, and download errors. The statistics are used to provide visitors with the most useful and current information available as well as improve the quality of your visit.

We do not collect individual information, unless you choose to provide such information.

The e-mail lists of the United American Committee are for the exclusive use by the United American Committee and UAC subsidiary organizations. You may remove your email from our lists at any time. We never sell our e-mail lists, however we do include occational newsletters from partner organizations as part of the free UAC membership. You will never receive spam as a result of being on our lists.

Donations

When you make an online contribution, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. We use this information to process your credit card transaction.

When you use your credit card on our web site, we use a secure server to process your transaction. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the information we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
